Some things to keep in mind:
Results may vary. Typically last 3-6 months. Patients must continue treatment to prevent wrinkles from returning. Your Face Techniques specialist will assist you in finding a treatment schedule that is right for you!
Side Effects include: Most common, tenderness, swelling, headache, redness and/or bleeding/ bruising. Rarely patients experienced eyelid drooping, Very rarely swelling of the eyelids with treatment of crow’s feet.
Don’t forget to tell your Face Techniques specialist if:
- You have received any other botulinum toxin product in the last 4 month such as Myobloc®,
- Dysport®, or Xeomin®
- Have recently received an antibiotic by injection
- Take muscle relaxants
- Take an allergy or cold medicine; take a sleep medicine; take anti-platelets (aspirin-like products) or anti-coagulants (blood thinners).
- Finally — be prepared to tell your doctor about any medical conditions, including any prescription medications, vitamins, or herbal supplements you are taking.
